The "Woodstock of Wooden Boats", Port Townsend's legendary Wooden Boat Festival started in 1977, in sync with Wooden Boat Magazine from the beginning. Since then, the organization has grown to serve 100,000 people annually including 25,000 at the annual festival weekend. Sailing, rowing, boat restorations, on-site shipwright and marine trades demonstrations and resources make this the west coast resource for all ages and all things wooden boat. |
