I Built it Myself
In the March/April 2008 issue of WoodenBoat magazine, we extended an invitation to our readers requesting they bring their home-built boats to the WoodenBoat Show and share their work with other like-minded individuals. We are pleased to say that over 30 readers have responded and will be exhibiting the boats they've built at the Show! There’s a wide range of designers (Herreshoff, Joel White, Thomas J. Hill) and many small boats (kayaks, peapods, skiffs and a sloop) to give you inspiration. We have some examples below, or even better, come to the WoodenBoat Show at Mystic Seaport and see them all in person!
